Watching with a Friend

The girls took pillows from our cot bed - Teio took the purple one, and Vanilla the blue one. Vanilla placed her pillow on the carpet and then lay down on it. Seeing this, Teio did the same.

Meanwhile, I turned on the TV and asked Vanilla what she would like to watch. She answered, “My Little Pony!” I have a feeling she did this on purpose, knowing that Teio is a horse girl.

I asked Teio if she had ever watched that show before. She said no.

The girls made some space for me on the carpet, so I sat down between them.

The episode started, and the girls seemed very interested in the show. I began to stroke their heads. Teio seemed pleased with the gesture.

We watched the first episode, and then the next one started. At some point, Teio began to yawn. I thought she must be tired, especially after the race and all the adventures she had with us.

I looked at Vanilla and noticed she had fallen asleep! Then I glanced back at Teio and saw that she had also fallen asleep. They looked very sweet.

I got up and went to my computer for a while, giving them some time to rest. After about an hour, I quietly woke Vanilla. We decided not to wake Teio and to take her to her home.

Vanilla brought our baby pram closer, and I gently lifted Teio. I noticed that her diaper was completely yellow - she must have peed while sleeping.

We decided not to change her diaper right away. I carefully placed the sleeping Teio in the pram, while Vanilla took a bag with new diapers and other changing supplies.
